Project
To create a digital image to be used as part of a Fast Food Litter Awareness Campaign eg poster, billboard, banner website.

Background/ Overview
The litter strategy team have run several high profile campaigns in the past with the latest dog fouling campaign receiving various awards and national recognition.
The new campaign will be aimed specifically at raising awareness of fast food litter dropped in and around high school at lunchtime.

What is the objective, the purpose of the ad?
We want to raise awareness of the consequences of dropping fast food litter and therefore encourage people to take responsibility for disposing of their fast food litter in a litter bin. Dropping litter is selfish and dangerous. Each year thousands of animals are injured or die as a result of it. In addition to this millions of pounds are spent each year by Falkirk Council to clear it up; a cost ultimately paid by the tax payer – you.

Target audience: who are we talking to?
This campaign will be aimed at High School pupils from across the Falkirk Council area. They will range in age from 11 yrs – 18 yrs. The types of litter that they are responsible for include items such as:
Plastic bottles               Chip papers                   Carrier Bags                  Sweet Wrappers
McDonalds Wrappers                 Pot Noodles                  Leftover food                  Drinks Cans Sandwich Wrappers                        Crisp Packets

Due to limitations on the school lunch break most pupils are limited to eating from whichever vendors are close to their school.
