Graphic Designer Central London, LondonLooking for Junior to Midlevel Graphic designer We are a busy charity organization based in central London W1 looking for an organized, friendly, creative person with an excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, CS3 Design premium on PC format. Good communication skills, persistence and the ability to work under pressure are vital. Your main duties will be to design promotional material, such as flyers, posters, brochures, HTML Emails and updating of the web site. Basic web and HTML knowledge would be a distinct advantage. You will be working with the marketing and events team and will be responsible for leasing with printers to ensure that projects are printed and delivered on time.

Monday – Friday time 11am-5pm
£15 per hour

Requirements:
• 3 + Years Relevant working experience
Relevant qualification, diploma/degree in graphic design
• Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and CS4 Design premium is a must
• Basic Web and HTML knowledge advantageous
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure is vital.
• Creative quality of designs
• Accuracy and timeouts delivery of designs

Candidates must have a minimum B-Tech in Graphic Design and it is essential to be able to use Adobe Master Collection CS3. The rate of pay will be minimum wage for a 6 week trial period and then will increase with ability.

About the Job
Artmarket are RECRUITING for a Mid to Senior level Graphic Designer!
We need a great new member of staff to be part of the Artmarket team. Graphic Design/Artworker experience is a must to work on both in-house and client brands.
Working on Apple Mac’s using indesign, photoshop, illustrator. You will need to have a natural creative flair with a passion for design, the ability to design for print and the web. It is a senior design role so we are looking for five years plus experience. Responsible for all aspects of print design (including newsletters, statements, announcements, promotional material, branding) and web design (including design layout, graphic components and capable of creating layouts using CSS & xhtml).

Concept work and development of design proposals. Amendments (various levels). Preparing documents and proofing for print. Professional development of less experienced members of the design team. Offering creative input to our multimedia team.

Necessary qualifications / skills / experience: Formal design training up to degree level, however if your portfolio backs up not having a degree then that’s cool too. Minimum of 3 years+ experience in design industry. Must be able to demonstrate excellent portfolio with supporting rationales - please include portfolio samples within CV. Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and with good understanding of Macs, the web and print is a must. Good business acumen. Open minded and receptive to new / alternative processes. Exceptionally organised and able to deliver projects on own initiative. Innovative thinker and able to inspire others. Driven to achieve objectives with a positive attitude. Attention to detail. Team player.
